Initially the cellular equivalent of hood ornaments, the media playback buttons on the front of the VX8100 finally work now that Verizon Wireless has decided to enable the once locked-down MP3 player.
While the Verizon version of the VX8100 lacked an MP3 player for the first month or so, Verizon now offers a firmware update to add it.
Well that’s my mobile phone history but back to my new LG VX 8100. I didn’t care about the mp3 player capability, etc, but did like the expandable memory.
